About This Blog

I am most interested in the right to free speech, which is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution. The First Amendment guarantees five types of "speech": speech, press, religion, assembly and petition. These type of cases go to the Supreme Court, which is why I decided to blog about First Amendment Supreme Court cases. Of the 80-100 cases SCOTUS rules on each year, about five will involve free speech. Although my focus is on cases involving the first amendment, I will review other cases too. If you want me to review a specific case then please contact me.

About This Blog

One day I would like to litigate cases in court. I was always interested in this, but I became even more interested after attending a trial court camp at Stanford and then watching the confirmation hearings for Justice Kavanaugh in 2018. The law is very important to your life as an American! It is also very interesting. Right now I am a high school student but I definitely hope to go to law school one day. Although I personally want to become a lawyer, this blog is for anyone who is curious about the Supreme Court. I love the law and I wanted to share that with other people my age.
